We’ve been attending this event since at least 1981 (and probably earlier). Since we didn’t have digital media “back in the day”, I didn’t take anywhere near as many pictures and I’m going to have to search through many boxes to dig them out. In the meantime, I’ll be consolidating all my former websites to this new website and adding new years as I go. So check back whenever you’d like for more history.

My Views of Big Bear Lake’s Oktoberfest
Big Bear Lake’s World Famous Oktoberfest.
-This yearly event started in 1971 and has existed ever since then for 7 (now 9) consecutive weekends every year during September and October.
-If you’ve never been (or even if you have), be sure to mark it on your calendars every year and come join some old friends!
