Just for chuckles (and thanks to Red for the suggestion a couple years ago), here’s a countdown clock so you can always find out when the 2020 edition will begin. Don’t miss it. It will be the 50th!
The 49th edition of Big Bear’s Oktoberfest is in the books. I hope you managed to join us this year in the fresh mountain air of Big Bear Lake, California for the 49th(!) edition of an event that's known around the world (well, at least to our extended family and friends in the United States, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Brazil).
The 2020 event will run from 12 September through 07 November 2020 (yes, 9 weekends again next year I’m guessing!). You can use the tabs above to enjoy all that made up this year’s event by checking out the weekly pictures and any movies that I posted and dream about what next year might bring.
By the way, tickets are obviously are not available yet for purchase online but old hands will tell you that buying them that way will save you the sometimes long wait (hours) to purchase tickets at the gate. And you might save even more by purchasing them early next year because of special early bird prices. And that includes all weekends of the event. Go ahead and click on the logo to the lower right for current information direct from the events website. —>
