Well, like I said, it was the last day of this year's Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest. 46 years of fun and merriment with good friends and family are now firmly stored in the way-back machine. All of these pictures are from one day but not all will have captions this time because the subjects are mostly the costumed guests and you can easily see the same things I saw. So, select a picture after viewing any videos you’d like and use the arrows at the bottom left to move through the rest or select Slideshow at the bottom right and watch them on auto-pilot. And, please enjoy.
To kind of set the stage for what it looked like, I’ve assembled sort of a panorama time-lapse using pictures I shot from the stage over nine (9) hours from 01:23pm through 10:25pm. It wasn’t as crowded as I expected but there were still LOTS of people. Click on the images to bring up full-sized versions. It’s kind of fun to watch the crowds as they build.
