This "week" we have a special treat for you. KTLA (TV5) from Hollywood visited us in Big Bear early Sunday morning to promote the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest on their highly rated Morning News show.
The 2018 behind-the-scenes pictures I took are first below and after that I’ve included three video clips. Like usual, just click on a picture and use arrows at the top right to navigate through the pictures or just select the slideshow option to view them hands free.
Now here are three video clips that will give you a little behind-the-scenes look at how it came together. The first will be the obligatory chicken dance to get things started (1:25).
The next clip will demonstrate some of the games and contests that are mainstays of Big Bear’s Oktoberfest (3:39). Make sure you watch all the way to the end so you catch the kid’s impromptu dancing.
And the last clip includes Hans' famous Oktoberfest toast (3:14).
