Like I said on the introductory page, we welcomed a German band for the first of it’s two weekends. The Franken Power Express is an old friend but it’s been a while since they were here. In the meantime, let’s start off with a short clip of them playing a song written by a band leader who was with us for the past two years. It’s called “Big Bear Lake’s Oktoberfest” and it was written just for us by Matthias Kremer (0:51).
Next, here's a short video of one of the dance group members playing the Alphorn (1:23).
And, a third video where three members of the dance group perform with some spoons. It’s amazing how quiet the house gets when this starts (0:30).
